Global connectivity and cloud services provider, M247 has extended its existing partnership with business telecoms and fibre provider Neos Networks, to further expand its 10Gbps capabilities and reach as demand for ultra-fast connectivity grows.
High bandwidth connectivity has been a longstanding part of M247’s product offering, both On-Net via its own POPs across Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and London, as well as via partners to extend its coverage across the UK. By investing further in its partnership with Neos Networks, M247 continues to expand its high-speed coverage to areas across the UK that would not previously have been able to benefit from 10Gbps bandwidths.
M247’s Network and Security Product Manager, David Palmer commented, “As a result of the significant shift to the cloud and adoption of SaaS solutions to facilitate remote working, the way in which employees access critical software and applications has changed. As businesses have welcomed employees back into offices, there has been increasing demand placed on connectivity which has often not been upgraded during the pandemic and many are looking to future-proof their operations by harnessing the capabilities of 10Gbps connectivity.”
Simon Willmott, Business Development Director for Wholesale at Neos Networks added, “Our recent report found that four in every five UK firms are unable to scale plans to their fullest due to their current connectivity arrangements. This could significantly limit their growth at a crucial time when many are looking to recover from the impact of Covid-19. Increased access to high-speed connectivity across the UK is key to powering the country’s digital future and our work with partners such as M247 is essential to delivering this.”
M247 is also rolling out the expanded 10Gbps connectivity to channel partners, enabling an even greater number of customers to benefit from high-speed connections across the UK.
