Metronet (UK) has ranked second in ‘Best Performing Telecoms and Networking Company’, and 15th overall in the 2016 megabuyte50 private company scorecard rankings.
Megabuyte was founded in 2007 to fill a gap in the market between stock-market and industry research. Today, Megabuyte is a highly-respected independent research provider tracking the corporate and financial affairs of some 600 of the UK’s key public and private companies in the ICT Services and Software sectors. Megabuyte’s founder and CEO, Ian Spence, is one of the technology sector’s most established and respected financial analysts and Megabuyte itself widely regarded as one of the sector’s most authoritative commentators.
The megabuyte50 awards are published annually and rank the performance of privately-owned, mid-market companies in the UK’s Software and ICT Services sectors. Compiled using Megabuyte’s proprietary Megabuyte Scorecard methodology, the rankings examine performance against seven key financial KPIs. Megabuyte’s awards differ from other growth awards in the superior rigour of their financial analysis and their specific focus on pure-breed technology companies and are widely regarded as an influential sector benchmarking reference. The megabuyte50 awards are one of three award series run by Megabuyte. The series focuses on different categories of UK technology companies, and at different stages of their development. Together, they are designed to identify the Top 125 companies in the Megabuyte coverage universe of Software and ICT Services companies.
Lee Perkins, CEO at Metronet (UK) commented, “We are so pleased to be ranked in the megabuyte50 awards. It has been a fantastic year so far at Metronet (UK) and to be recognised in this Top 50 really shows that the work we are putting in is paying off. Congratulations to everyone else who made the list, it is an honour to be ranked with such renowned and respected businesses.”
