M247 Europe is pushing its global network footprint even further, officially expanding into the U.S. with two new operational points of presence (POPs) in Atlanta and Chicago. This strategic move strengthens M247’s position in the international market, bringing its total network to 53 POPs across all continents. Each location of M247 Global Network is interconnected with high-performance 10, 50, or 100+ Gigabit communication links, offering customers unmatched speed and reliability.
Investment in Performance and Reach
The new U.S. facilities reflect significant investments in both technology and partnerships. Together with the two existing data centers in Bucharest, the expansion enhances M247 Global Network’s ability to serve digital content providers, video streaming platforms, online gaming companies, and application developers. Customers now have even better access to major global markets with optimal connectivity and performance levels.

Atlanta, a major player in industry, finance, and telecommunications, offers a strong foundation for high-speed, low-latency services. The data center connects through CIX-ATL and benefits from premium IP transit providers Arelion and Cogent.
Customers in Atlanta can access M247’s latest range of dedicated servers, including Balanced Intro, Balanced Premium, Compute Premium, Balanced Advanced, Balanced Super, and Balance Ultra.
Chicago: Powerhouse of the Midwest
In Chicago, M247’s new home is Equinix CH7, at 111 Plaza Drive in Westmont, Illinois. This 29,287 sqft (2,721 sqm) facility is strategically placed to serve Chicago’s dense financial and tech sectors. The city is a global financial hub, housing major exchanges like the Chicago Stock Exchange, Board Options Exchange, and Mercantile Exchange. Strong peering and network bases make this location ideal for reliable content delivery, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
The Chicago POP is connected via the Equinix Chicago IX provider and backed by Arelion and Cogent for IP transit services. Like in Atlanta, customers can select from the full range of M247’s newest dedicated servers.
