Purpose of the role

To carry out the installation process so that M247 services can be delivered to customers

Key responsibilities

  • 1st point of contact with customers for installations
  • Deliver customer cabling solutions for physical installation of network: cables, brackets, antenna, poles as required, routers and switches
  • Work remotely with other teams for support to ensure the completion of installations
  • Antenna alignment to line of sight within the network
  • Cherry picker use to install cables and allow network access
  • Follow internal escalation processes and working procedures
  • Operation of allocated tools and kit for M247 network physical installations
  • Follow all health and safety practices, responsible for personal safety at work
  • Follow internal ways of working and systems use e.g. team viewer
  • Maintenance of orderly conditions of company vehicles and equipment
  • Completion of work reporting

Additional for Team leaders: 

  • Coaching and mentoring new team members
  • Completion of work reporting, supervision of reports as team mentor

Desirable, but training will be provided for:

  • Knowledge of cable routing and cable termination
  • IPAF: 1B
  • CSCS
  • Eyebolt installation
  • Roof working
  • Manual handling
  • Asbestos awareness
  • PASMA
  • Basic first aid
