Executive Team

Appointed as CEO of M247 in August 2021, Darryl has more than 35 years of experience within the telecommunication industry. His previous roles have included Chairman of the Board and non-Executive Director for listed company’s and various Chief Executive and Sales positions.

Most recently Darryls’ positions included the President & CEO of ECI Telecom, Chairman of MACH, Lead Director EXFO: NASDAQ, CEO AIRCOM, and Global Sales Leader for Nortel.

Darryl brings a wealth of industry and executive experience, much of it gained through working closely with various Private Equity companies.

Chief Financial Officer, Andrew Humphreys has a track record for delivering value in PE, listed and family owned international businesses, having previously been CFO at global aerospace and defense supply chain business Pattonair and AIM-listed Conviviality Retail. He also spent time as Retail Finance Director at Shop Direct Group and UK Finance Director at Carphone Warehouse.

Andrew joined M247 in March 2022. Impressed with the strong management team at M247 and their clear and simple strategy to take the business forward.

Martin has 25 years’ experience as an international telecoms leader, and joined M247 in June 2021.

Drawing upon his time at GTT as both President, UK & APAC, and as part of the Infrastructure (EXA) leadership, Martin will lead M247 International team, ensuring our vision, technical capability and strategy drives our and our customers business forwards in today’s digitally evolving world.

Having resided in the US for two years on assignment with Level (3) (Lumen), Martin worked extensively across EMEA. He thrives in the volatile world of global IT and telecommunications and has led numerous post-acquisition integrations and change programmes designed to scale organisations and deliver sustainable performance improvement.

Working as an assembler programmer for BT in the formative part of his career, he progressed to various management functions specifically within global finance sales.

Committed to the ethos that an empowered culture which creates, encourages and celebrates strong teams can achieve greatness, he’s honoured to be leading the next chapter of M247 International business.

Passionate about technology and innovation, Greg joined M247 in January 2019 as a Cloud Solutions Architect and has quickly risen through the ranks, now sitting as part of the Executive Board as our Chief Portfolio Officer.

A self-proclaimed admirer of disruptive and emerging technology, Greg’s career within the IT industry spans over 2 decades, starting with IBM after a fleeting month working in the banking sector where he quickly realised that was not for him. Greg’s 20 year career has incorporated a wide range of IT roles and responsibilities, where he has built a strong foundation of knowledge and understanding of technical areas across many businesses and verticals; having undertaken roles including helpdesk, engineering/devops, pre-sales and consultancy a to name a few.

With a strong focus on people and customers, Greg takes a ‘people first’ approach and loves seeing how the real-life application of technology into a business can bring many benefits when done right. Having led many digital transformation projects for a range of businesses, Greg has now created a high performing technology team at M247, which focuses on leveraging technology to deliver business value and outcomes.

Pete has over 15 years’ experience in operational leadership and transformation roles across the technology industry, he joined M247 in 2019 as Head of PMO and now sits as part of our Executive Board as Chief Operations Officer.

Starting where he meant to carry on, Pete’s early career incorporated customer and project manager roles with companies such as Virgin Media and BT Wholesale. Immediately prior to joining M247, Pete was General Manager for Fibre at BT Openreach where he established the initial deployment of ‘Fibre to the Premise’ programme (one which continues to deliver businesses and residences greater connectivity across the UK today).

Pete leads the M247 Operations team who deliver and support the implementation of our solutions across our full product portfolio for our customers throughout the UK and beyond. Pete is passionate about customer experience, he has vast experience in leading multinational innovation programmes that focused on the importance of collaboration of colleagues working worldwide, to best solve customer issues.

With a leadership style that is focussed around enabling amazing people to achieve great things, Pete is an advocate of the theory of lifelong learning – something he drives forwards for his team as much as himself. His most recent contribution to this was the reformation of development pathways and opening of a dedicated learning lab for colleagues here at M247.

Rich Joined M247 in June 2022 as Chief People Officer.

He has a wealth of experience across several business sectors, including retail, technology, consultancy, and professional services and has navigated organisations through high growth, M&A, turnaround & divestment.

Rich joined us from another PE backed outfit, where he delivered transformation alongside 400% headcount growth over a 3.5-year period, for a global professional services business.

Upon joining M247, Rich overhauled our International structure to create better support mechanisms and development opportunities at all levels for our workforce, this also enabling better sales and support solutions for our customers. Rich has created an unparalleled culture here at M247, with employee engagement at an all-time high (ENPS +18), employee attrition at an all-time low (Sub 1%), plus we have recently been awarded position 56 in the UKs 100 Most Loved Workplaces 2023.

We are excited to see how Rich’s People Plan continues to unfold in the coming years as we uphold our efforts to remain the employer of choice in our sector.

With over 20+ years’ leadership experience in Technology and Telecommunications, Phil joined M247 in 2018, and oversees the Commercial, Legal, Marketing and M&A Strategy functions.
Phil has a track record of driving Enterprise Value through organic growth and M&A strategies, within both Private and Public AIM listed organisations.
